With the pandemic here to stay for the holidays, and an uptick of cases in our small community, most of my holiday shopping will be done online. With that being said, I’m still going to be supporting local as much, and as safely, as I can.
Here are a few of my favorite local goodies and a few non-specific local ideas!
Liv With Livi
I LOVE these bracelets. Which is saying something, because I am not a jewelry girl. Especially with a little one always pulling on everything. But I can’t get enough with these bracelets.
She is also making earrings which are ADORABLE, and I will be purchasing for gifts and for myself when my little one isn’t so grabby. She is also making gaiters! Local pick up or shipping available!

Friends Hosting Parties
Tis the season to get invitations to hosted online parties! While these typically aren’t my thing, it is a good way to support your friends. Plus, if it’s a friend of yours, they will likely not bombard you with emails and offers year-round. Even when you add yourself to a group or join in on a virtual party, you can control how much or how little you participate!
I’ll link you to my girls and their groups:
ColorStreet Nails- I really love these. Like a lot. I used to be a gel nails every few weeks kind of girl. These are really easy, look great, reasonably priced and they’re easy. Which is my jam. Plus it makes me feel kind of like I have my sh*t together, when I definitely don’t, LOL.

Usborne Books- We love books at our house. Our girl had outgrown her bookshelves before her first birthday… there is not one room in our home that doesn’t have books in it. Now that Harper is old enough to pick out books and bring them to us, her Usborne books are the ones she reaches for the most often. She especially loves the Usborne Sound Books!

PS- She’s also really great at putting together custom reading lists for kiddos of any ages!
As a new mom, meals were our favorite gift. This isn’t any different now, TBH. Plus, this is a great way to support local businesses through these tough times. Gift cards can be used now for take out or curbside or can be saved until the pandemic has settled.
Or you can also get local meat, jams, honey and soaps from small farms in your area!
Let’s not forget Etsy! While I love Amazon, I think it’s important to support others right now, too. Etsy is a wonderful platform for makers of all kinds. While these makers might not be local to you, they’re another way to shop small and gift custom unique gifts!
I’ll be posting more guides and tips and DIY gifts in the next few days/weeks. And also… I’ll be posting a little about what I’ve been up to! Hint: it involves painting and is keeping my crafty little heart happy!
Stay tuned! Xo
